Privacy Policy
Clements Employment Law, P.C. ("Clements," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit clementsemploymentlaw.com (the "Site"), contact us, register for or attend an event or educational program, subscribe to communications, apply for a position or engagement, or otherwise interact with us before a signed engagement agreement is in place (collectively, the "Services").
This Policy does not alter the terms of any signed engagement agreement and is not intended to describe our confidentiality obligations to clients. Information provided through the Site or by email does not, by itself, create an attorney-client relationship or constitute confidential attorney-client communications.
1. Personal Information We Collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect the following categories of personal information:
· Identifiers and contact information, such as your name, email address, mailing address, telephone number, employer or organization, job title, and other contact details.

Please do not submit highly sensitive, confidential, or time-sensitive information through an unencrypted website form or ordinary email unless and until we ask you to do so through an appropriate channel.
· Professional and commercial information, such as information about your organization, your interest in our services, event registrations, service requests, and communications with us.
· Payment and transaction information, if you purchase a service or make a payment. Payment-card information is generally processed by our payment processor rather than retained by us, except as necessary for business records.
· Internet and device information, such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring and exit pages, pages viewed, links clicked, approximate location derived from IP address, and the dates and times of your visits.
· Preferences and communications information, such as your marketing preferences, survey responses, and newsletter or event-subscription choices.
· Employment- or engagement-related information, if you apply to work with us or otherwise seek an engagement with the firm.
We may also receive personal information from publicly available sources, social-media platforms, referral sources, and service providers, subject to applicable law and the terms governing those sources.
2. How We Collect Information
We collect personal information:
· Directly from you when you complete a form, contact us, schedule a meeting, subscribe to communications, register for an event, make a payment, or otherwise provide information to us.
· Automatically through cookies, web logs, and similar technologies when you use the Site.
· From third parties, including referral sources, social-media platforms, publicly available sources, and service providers.
3. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Site may use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember preferences, understand Site traffic and usage, help prevent fraud or security incidents, and improve our content and services.
You can generally configure your browser to delete or reject cookies. If you do so, some Site features may not function as intended. Where required by law, we will provide any required notice, choice, or consent mechanism for non-essential cookies or similar technologies.
4. How We Use Personal Information
We may use personal information to:
· Respond to inquiries, evaluate potential representations, and communicate with you.
· Provide, administer, and improve our Services, events, educational programs, and Site.
· Schedule meetings, process payments, send requested materials, and provide support.
· Send administrative notices, confirmations, updates, and, where permitted, newsletters and other marketing communications.

You may opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in the message or contacting us as described below. We may still send non-promotional communications, including responses to requests and messages about an existing relationship or transaction.
5. How We Disclose Information

· Service providers that perform services on our behalf, such as website hosting, email and productivity services, scheduling, payment processing, customer-relationship management, e-signature, document storage, bookkeeping, video conferencing, mailing, and email-marketing providers.
· Professional advisers, such as accountants, insurers, auditors, and legal advisers, when necessary for legitimate business, legal, or professional purposes.
· Government authorities, courts, and other parties when we believe disclosure is necessary to comply with law, a subpoena, court order, or other lawful process; to protect rights, safety, and security; or to investigate or prevent unlawful activity.
· Successors or transaction participants in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, sale, transfer, or other disposition of all or part of our practice or assets, subject to applicable law and professional obligations.
· Other parties with your direction or consent.
We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by California law.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide Services, maintain business and legal records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, comply with legal and professional obligations, and protect our rights and security. Retention periods vary based on the nature of the information, our relationship with you, and applicable obligations.
